Thank you to everyone who came out on Wednesday night to Eskimo Joes... We had a great time!!!! Tim, Jody, Rusty and the entire staff... You guys are great ... Thank you ... For those of you who missed the show we announced the band and introduced our first line of shirts in our swag collection.

Just got done with the Lupus walk in OKC at the Zoo... I love the Gorilla and Monkey sanctuaries ... See alot of my friends in them... Tommy... Haha

Gonna be at Roosters in Oklahoma City tonight... Show starts at 9:30PM!!! If you can ... come early ... Josh and I will be hanging out before the show and would love to meet ya... So grab your friends and come party and don't forget to come up and say hi!!!!

For those of you who have never been to The Wormy Dog ... Go check it out and with your first steps through the doors you will see why it is such an honor to play here... This is a venue who truely supports the artist... The history that this place holds is unreal... I am humbled to have and be able to play on the same stage as Cross Canadian Ragweed, Stony Larue, Cody Canada and The Departed, Jonathan Tyler and The Northern Lights, Jason Boland, Wade Bowen, Jack Ingram, Taddy Porter.... This list goes on and on... So if you have never been to The Wormy Dog... As for this week I will be playing an acoustic show this Saturday, March 19 in Ponca City OK at The Rocking Horse. The Rocking Horse will be hosting a free Cookout starting at 6:00PM and the show starts at 8:00PM...

The Benefit concert was incredible last week...Because of the support from the community and the soul of the artist that performed.... the benefit raised ten times the amount it raised last year... All of the money will now go to a scholarship in Mindy's name and will be awarded to an applicant later this year. Thank you to all of you who came out to share your love...Thank you to all who gave so freely and generously...You are all amazing! Thank you to Stan and Anne Moffat, Rockford and Jake, and all who braved the heat and put in countless hours to make the show not only possible but a success!

Thank you Mindy for living a life that inspires all you've touched and gives hope to all who carry you with them!

Tonight I am playing the Mindy Wolfe-Waren Benefit. Mindy died last year due to complications from crohn's disease. Her family and community have dedicated a scholarship in her memory... All proceeds from tonight's show go directly to that scholarship to be presented later this year to a deserving applicant... Tonight is all about the memory of an amazing person and the love that she continues to share with those she knew and those she has yet to meet.... Death is not the end just the catalyst to a new beginning. Mindy Wolfe-Waren is able to whisper this secret to us tonight...all we have to do is listen....Can you hear it?

Show time is 6 to 10 and will be outside on the corner of 3rd and Knoblock in Stillwater, OK.

I got a chance to see another great show last night @ Eskimo Joes in Stillwater Oklahoma... Jonathan Tyler and the Northern Lights and also The Flatland Travelers... Both bands were great.... Jonathan Tyler and the Northern Lights brought the SOUL! and the Flatland Travelers brought the Vibe! Good Times!

To all those who came up and said hi to me last night ...thank you for braving the crowds...it was a pleasure to meet you all!

Back in the studio this week...we are laying down some southern vibe guitars today... I've been groovin for the past hour...

Last night I got to go catch a cool show at Eskimo Joes in Stillwater Oklahoma.... The Turnpike Troubadours and No Justice brought the house that Stan Clark built down... It was a great show....
If you get a chance you need to pick up No Justice's new record 2nd Ave... just came out... you need it...hahaha....
If I get done early enough tonight I am going back to Joes to catch Jonathan Tyler and the Northern Lights.... all I can say is...stoked...

Listening to fireworks going off tonight was a very surreal feeling for me...Lot of memories came flooding back tonight followed by a profound sense of gratitude and sadness. For the first time in my life the explosions I was listening to were both a celebration and a reminder of the victories and sacrifices we as Americans have achieved and endured.

After the show last night I got a chance to meet a Army Vet who was so appreciative ...I was humbled to be in his presence. From across the room someone clearly upset and passionate in her own right asked him how he slept at night and he simply smiled and said "I sleep at night knowing that what I did and what we do allows for nights like tonight to happen for you."

I am so very thankful to and for all of our Service Men and Woman. You freely give all of yourselves so we can live the life I hope we have all come to love... You are selfless, humble and brave. You are all my heroes and a simple thank you isn't enough. You are a shining example of love. You give all of yourselves and ask for nothing in return...Because of you I am able and will give all of myself to and for you as well... We as Americans are a family like none that I have ever witnessed... I thank you and love you all!

Happy Birthday America...We can celebrate knowing our Warriors have and will continue to fight out of and for LOVE!

Thank you Ponca City...

The Rocking Horse was a lot of fun last night...
Met a lot of really cool people (Cherry, Walter, Kneeland, and my maiden name was Ryan, Andy, Lindsey, Amy, slim and slims old lady... just to name a few... can't wait to see you again) and got to try out some bran new songs.. (is that right... bran...or is it supposed to be brand new...always wondered that...ummm) Anyway... the staff was incredible last night! Jo, Nina, Eric, and Carl... had a good time hanging out with you... Bill wrap up that knee buddy before you run your next 36 miles...
So Ponca City Thank You again for sharing last night with me. I will see you again on July 17th come hang out and bring a friend... I want to get to know you all so come say hi!

Insanity: Doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results. Albert Einstein... This is a note to self...Remember it Ryan...

I am still deciding on how I want to use this blog. I know what a blog is but....Really??? So I am thinking I will use this more as a journal...but instead of hiding it away and keeping it under lock and key...I will leave it wide open and only hope it will be read. Some days will be more intimate than others but it will always be.... me.

I am gearing up for an acoustic show tonight at the Rocking Horse in Ponca City, Oklahoma (Come Out!!! Love to see you...meet you..get to know you) and then heading right back into the studio on Monday. We have some incredible soul singers coming in this week... Really excited to meet them!

Oh...so you know... this will always be open to you to leave comments on, reply to, make fun of (cause after all, if you can't laugh at yourself...) and whatever else you want to use it for.

I will be posting videos of all the sessions and will post any photos and comments you send me.
